East Bali Tour Itinerary

First stop is Kertagosa (Hall of Justice ). It is located in Kelungkung Town , in front of  Kelungkung Puputan memorial. Built in 1710 by King of Klungkung Dewa Agung, the ceiling of the Hall is covered by Kamasan Painting .In the middle is built Bale Kambang ( Floating Hall),its ceiling is also covered by Kamasan painting. In the west of the hall is Semarajaya Museum with its collection of King and Family Photos in Balinese dresses. Entrance fee Rp. 12,000/person.

Second stop is Besakih Mother Temple. It is located in the slope of Mount Agung 100 meters above sea level. Besakih Tempel is built by Javanese Priest Danghyang Dwijendra on His travel to Bali in 8th century.Besakih temple has big complex of temple and also family temple complex who was added by another javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha in 16th century. Penataran Agung is the main temple courtyard, in this courtyard there are three main throne dedicated to “Tri Murti” ( three manifest of God ) Brahma, Wisnu and Sivha. Entrance fee Rp.10,000/person.

Third stop is Goa Lawah Temple (Bat Cave Temple). located in Pesingahan Village, Klungkung Regency. The temple was built 11th century by priest Mpu Kuturan , this temple is one of the temple for Hindus for Nyegara Gunung ceremony  that located near the sea. there are thousands bats that habitat in the cave of the cliff. Entrance ticket Rp.5,000/person

Fourth stop is Kusamba Village. It is located 2 kilometers west side of  Goa Lawah Temple. Kusamba village is known as salt making and fisherman village. There are many “perahu” small traditional boat there. No Entrance fee.

Fifth stop is Tenganan Village. It is 0ccupied by Bali Aga, the original Balinese, before Majapahit people (Javanese ) came to Bali. This village  is well known with its Pandan War that be held around may and june. It is also known for Tenun Ikat  Gringsing (handmade Balinese traditional cloths) . No entrance fee.

Sixth stop is Candidasa Beach. This is tourist resort in east of Bali, visitor can do snorkeling in the small island of Gili Tepekong to see coral fish. Candidasa Temple is located in the east part . No entrance fee.
